We price our beef using the animal's live weight at the time it is delivered to the processor. This straightforward pricing method allows us to offer one simple price that includes the harvest fee, processing, and standard packaging—eliminating surprise costs and separate payments to the processor. 

Your $6.75 per pound live-weight price includes:

• Harvest (kill) fee 
• Processing 
• Standard vacuum packaging 
• Custom cut instructions 

There are no separate processor invoices.

No. Hidden Acres Family Farm pays the processor directly. You'll receive one invoice from us, making the process simple and hassle-free. 

The amount of packaged beef varies depending on the size of the animal and your cut selections. Most customers receive approximately 40–45% of the animal's live weight as packaged beef. 

Absolutely! Before processing, you'll receive a cut sheet to customize your order. You can choose steak thickness, roast sizes, ground beef packaging, and more. 

Beef Share & Recommended Freezer Space

• Quarter 4–5 cubic feet
• Half 8–10 cubic feet
• Whole 16–20 cubic feet                      

A deposit reserves your beef share and is applied toward your final purchase. The remaining balance is due before your beef is picked up from the processor.                

Processing timelines vary throughout the year. We'll keep you informed throughout the process and notify you as soon as your order is ready for pickup.
